  1. Review claims

    The introduction of Medicare Web Services means you no longer need to batch invoices in Zedmed. The claims are automatically sent one at a time and the invoices will still be paid in bulk by Medicare. These claims are managed in the new Claims Status screen
  2. Add a new doctor

    Set up a new doctor or locum in Zedmed. This includes a Zedmed login and an account where the doctor's billing and reporting information is entered.
  3. The Doctors App

    Install the Doctor's App so you can action results and manage patients, wherever they are. It can be downloaded from the IOS app store or Google Play.

    Create an invoice for an in-patient covered by a health fund and make a claim.
  8. Update Other Fees

    Download a fees file and update Zedmed with the latest item fees. You will perform these steps for each payer you need to update, such as a health fund, WorkCover, BUPA, DVA, TAC or Motor Vehicle.
  9. Manage Office FRM templates

    Create labels and letters in Zedmed using FRM templates, which are linked to Word documents (the data source) in the Zedmed folder.
  10. Secure Send

    Use email and SMS to securely send invoices, referrals and other documents to patients with Electronic Document Transfer (EDT). Documents are securely accessed by the payer using a link to a branded verification page.
